Trend

Emma Watson

As Forbes points out of their piece on Hollywood's prime-grossing on-display screen couples, we have come a long way from the times when Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall or Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn would seem in multiple movies together, wooing audiences with their predictable chemistry. These days, most of our favorite couples solely star together greater than once due to big-budget franchises, meaning after their run is over, we'll possible by no means see them collectively on screen again. (Fingers crossed Robsten breaks that trend!)

Thus, it is no surprise that Emma Watson and Rupert Grint high Forbes' listing of the very best-grossing onscreen couples of the previous 10 years. Hermione and Ron's romance finally came to the surface in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," but it's been developing since manner again in "Chamber of Secrets." The "Harry Potter" film franchise has grossed $6.three billion worldwide to date, and when "Deathly Hallows: Half 2" lastly hits theaters this summer time, we'll guess that box workplace gross will put the sequence over the $7 billion mark.
